Cooperation agreement with the University

The Società del Quartetto of Vercelli and the University of Eastern Piedmont "Amedeo Avogadro" signed an agreement of collaboration for the organization of the prestigious Gian Battista Viotti International Music Competition. At the signing table, the Rector Cesare Emanuel and the president of the Società del Quartetto Maria Arsieni Robbone.
The agreement will last three years. The University will provide the necessary support for the strategies of communication and promotion of the Competition; make it known in its student community; activated forms of collaboration (internships, apprenticeships, workshops) that students in degree programs appropriate to be actively involved in the implementation Contest (interpreting, voice, mentoring, etc...). The two organizations will also collaborate on initiatives for fundraising, for the accommodation of competitors and the organization of cultural initiatives to support and enrichment of the competition.
"To maintain the success and prestige of the competition," says Ms. Robbone, "we have proposed the joint development of the University organizational synergies for the spread of competition within the academic community and the student and the university network nationally and internationally which it refers. We are happy that we have answered yes immediately and with enthusiasm. "
"We know the competition and we are honored to be part of his organization," says the rector of Emanuel. "With this agreement, fully pursue our 'third mission' of public engagement and social, next to the traditional teaching and research. In this case, we commit ourselves to generate and disseminate knowledge in synergy with a private entity such as the Società del Quartetto, which shares our goals."
