Illya Zuyko | 2nd prize
Illya Zuyko has been awarded with the Second prize and the Audience prize of the 62nd Gian Battista Viotti International piano Competition 2011 in Vercelli.
Ilia Zuiko was born in Ukraine in 1994. He began study at the age of 6 and he won the fisrt prize in several child's music competitions. From September 2007 he studies in Kyiv special secondary musical school with Prof. A.T. Gud’gko. From 2008 he won the VIII International competition in memory of Vladimir Horowit (I prize and gold medal); the X International Vladimir Krainev Young Pianists competition (I prize); V Tbilisi International piano competition (I prize, gold medal and the special prize “The Pianist of the future”).

Artem Yasynskyy | 3rd prize
Artem Yasynskyy won the Third prize of the 62nd Gian Battista Viotti International piano Competition 2011 in Vercelli.
Artem Yasynskyy, born in Ukraine in 1988, studied at Donetsk State Prokofiev's Music Academy and since 2010 he is studying at Bremen Hochschule fuer Kunst. He won prizes in some international competitions for young pianists, such as the International Competition for young pianist in Prokofiev's Homeland and in 2011 he has been awarded with the “Steinway Forderpreis” in Hamburg. He performed in Kiev with the National Orchestra of Ukraine and gave recitals in Norway and Italy.

The Final with orchestra
It promises to be a great night of music in the final of the 62nd Gian Battista Viotti International Piano Competition, Saturday, Oct. 29 at City Theatre of Vercelli at 20.30. The three candidates will perform concerts of Rachmaninoff, Liszt and Tchaikovsky with the Orchestra Sinfonica Carlo Coccia conducted by Alessandro Ferrari. The three finalists, results from a selection of three preliminary rounds which was attended by 55 competitors from 20 nations, are the young Ukrainian Illya Zuyko, Russian Alexey Lebedev and Artem Yasinskyy (Ukraine).

Saturday, October 29, 2011, starting at 20.30, you can watch the Final Round with orchestra of the 62nd International Piano Competition in Gian Battista Viotti live stream. The Live stream of the Final will be broadcasted by the online newspaper Vercelli Oggi. The Final will be held with the participation of the Orchestra Sinfonica Carlo Coccia and will be conducted by Alessandro Ferrari.
