PIANO 2023: Competitor
Dongju has been studying at the Seoul National University with Professor Aviram Reichert for the last year, from 2023 till present. He graduated at the Sunwha Arts High School where he studied from 2020 to 2022, and, before that he studied at the Sunwha Arts Middle School from 2017 to 2019.
Dongju performed as a soloist at the Graduation Recital of the Universal Arts Center in Seoul, Korea, in 2020 and at the Kumho Recital for the Kumho Art Hall, always in Seoul, Korea, in 2018.
In 2021, he performed with the Sunwha String Orchestra playing the Mozart Piano Concerto No.20, as well as with the Kookmin Daily-Youngsan art hall Quintet.
In the last three years he won the 2nd Prize at the 30th KBS KEPCO Music Competition in July 2023, and in June he passed the Kumho Young Artist Concert Audition. In 2021 he won the 1st Prize at the Dong-A Competition, and the 2nd Prize at the Busan Competition, while in 2020 he won the 1st Prize at the Ewha Kyunghyang Competition.
