EUNBIN WOO
The soprano Eunbin Woo earned her bachelor’s degree in classical vocal performance at Keimyung University in South Korea. From July to December 2024, she was a member of the Opernstudio at the Korea National Opera. She has performed in various concerts in Korea and Germany, including a solo recital in 2022 and a summer concert in Karlsruhe in 2025.

The first round combines two famous arias: the lively “Chacun le sait” of Marie from La fille du régiment, a joyful hymn to military life, and the Queen of the Night’s aria from Die Zauberflöte, where the queen implores Prince Tamino to save her daughter. The semifinal continues with two highly complex arias: Rosina’s “Una voce poco fa,” a virtuosic aria of cunning in which the protagonist declares her wit and resolve, followed by Zerbinetta’s famous aria from Ariadne auf Naxos, where the coloratura expresses her philosophy on love with brilliance and great technical skill.
