MLADEN TCHOLITCH

French pianist Mladen Tcholitch combines an international concert career with high-level teaching and a strong commitment to young musicians. Professor at the Geneva Conservatory, he serves as Dean of Keyboard Instruments and artistic coordinator of the Cours de Maîtres, founded by Nikita Magaloff and revived in 2025. Trained in Serbia with Ivana Branovački and Svetlana Bogino, he continued his studies at the Paris Conservatoire under Jacques Rouvier and Prisca Benoit, refining his art with Vladimir Krainev, Dmitri Bashkirov, and Mikhail Voskresensky. A prize-winner at major international competitions including Maria Canals in Barcelona, the Jaén Prize, Rachmaninov in Novgorod, and Isidor Bajić, he performs regularly in recital and with orchestra across Europe, Russia, Asia, and North America. His discography features solo recordings and piano duos with Prisca Benoit, broadcast by stations like France Musique. Founder and president of the Genève Musicale International Competition and Festival, he actively supports the next generation of artists. His students win prestigious international awards and perform on major stages worldwide. He is also regularly invited to serve on the juries of major international competitions.
