PETER THEILER

The Swiss opera director, set designer, and theater manager, Peter Theiler, has held positions of high responsibility in major European institutions. He was Generalintendant of the Musiktheater im Revier in Gelsenkirchen (2001–2008) and Staatsintendant of the Staatstheater Nürnberg (2008–2018). From 2018 to 2024, he served as Intendant of the Sächsische Staatsoper Dresden (Semperoper Dresden), demonstrating consolidated experience in the artistic and administrative management of large theater complexes.
