Bio
Born in 1994 in South Korea, Jongwoo Hong graduated from Seoul National University. In 2014 he sang the role of Monostatos in the opera “The Magic Flute” by Mozart and in 2019 he sang the role of Rinuccio in the opera “Gianni Schicci” by Puccini. He also sang Sueum in the modern opera Killers Garden in South Korea in 2019 and, in 2021, in the modern opera “The Death of chief Kim”. Since 2022 he has been studying opera singing at the ‘Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden’ with Lothar Odinius.
