Born in Dae-jeon, South Korea, Inho Jeong completed the professional opera studio course at Korea National Opera in 2022. He graduated from Seoul National University College of Music in 2017 and studied with Wonik-Choi, Suho Park, and Kammersänger Attila Jun. Starting in the 23/24 season, he will make his debut in the title role at the Opera Royal de Wallonie in Liege, Belgium, the Gärtnerplatz Theater in Munich, and the Royal Opera House Muscat in Oman. In 2022 and 2023 he will give concerts in Austria, France and Portugal. In 2022 he won the “Riccardo Zandonai Competition” in Italy, the “Otto Edelmann Competition” and the “Ferruccio Tagliavini Competition” in Austria. He was among the two finalists at the “Music Masters in Monte Carlo.” He received the Special Prize at the “Tenor Viñas Competition” in Spain and two Special Prizes at the “Opera Competition” in Russia. He has also won many competitions in Korea. He won the “Dong-A Music Competition,” the “La bella Competition,” and the “Gloria opera company International Vocal Competition.” In addition, he won first prize in “Korean Classical Singer Association International Vocal Competition,” “Pavarotti Vocal Competition” and grand prize in “Dae-gu Voice Competition,” as well as third prize in “Gwang-ju Voice Competition” and “Joong-ang Music Competition” and second prize in “Seil Korea Art song Competition.” She has performed the opera “La Traviata” at Gangnam International Music Festival, “Tosca” at Chungmu Art Center and the opera “Le Nozze di Figaro” at Seoul National University Concert Hall. He has collaborated with conductors Marco Boemi, Sascha Goetzel, Vladimir Kiradjiev, Marius Burkert and Tugan Sokhiev. He has also worked with the Bolshoi Theater Orchestra, Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, Graz Philharmonic Orchestra, MDW Philharmonic Orchestra, Veneta Philharmonic Orchestra and Prime Philharmonic Orchestra. He has performed at the Seoul Arts Center and in various concerts with the Dae-jeon Philharmonic Orchestra at the Dae-jeon Arts Center.
