Jihyung Youn is currently studying at Yonsei University with Professor Ian Yungwook Yoo.
She is a graduate of Yewon School and Seoul Arts High School with top honors. She worked with brilliant talents and was acknowledged for her passion and efforts as a pianist.
She competed in a number of competitions, where he gained top prizes, including Korea’s two biggest and most recognized competitions, (Busan Music Competition, and Joongang Music Concours).
She had many opportunities to perform at Seongnam Arts Center, Busan cultural Center and Gumho Art Hall. She played with Nanse Gum, one of the most legendary maestros in Korea, as well as with many orchestras and famous musicians.
She also performed at Euro Music Festival Abschlusskonzert and Internationale Sommerakademie Mozaerteum Akademiekonzert and was selected as one of the finalists of Busoni Competition (2019),. which was her first international competition.
