Jin-Hyeon Lee was born on December 9, 1990, in Gwang-ju, Korea. He graduated at Seoul Arts High School and at the College of Music Seoul National University under the direction of Prof. Hee-Sung Joo. He gained his Master’s diploma and ‘Meisterklasse’ diploma at Hochschule Für Musik und Theater München. He is Studying a Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts with Prof. Arnulf von Arnim.
He won many international Piano Competitions: 1st prize at the Beijing International Music Festival Concerto Competition, 2nd prize at A. Scriabin International Piano Competition in Salzburg Academy, 2nd prize at Verona International Piano Competition (with the Special Prize “Romantic Music”), 1st Prize at Malta International Piano Competition, 2nd Prize at Massarosa International Piano Competition (and Audience Prize), 2nd Prize at ‘Premio Jaén International Piano Competition (and Audience Prize).
He performed a series of concerts in Korea, Germany and Italy in solo recital or with the Gwang-ju Philharmonic Orchestra, Seoul Arts High School Youth Symphony Orchestra, Seoul National University Philharmonic Orchestra, Ciudad de Granada Orchestra.
