Yuki Osaki was born in 1993 in Germany and grew up in Hiroshima, Japan.S he began her piano studies at the age of 7.
Yuki got success in several competitions, including the 4th Manhattan International Music Competition (Golden Medal with High Distinction,2019), the 22th Pietro Argento International Music Competition (2nd Prize, 2019), the 15th Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition (Semifinalist, 2019), International Chamber Music Competition “Cidade de Alcobaça” (2nd prize without 1st prize and prize for the best interpretation of Portuguese works, 2017).
She is currently studying for her soloist master’s degree at Mozarteum University Salzburg in the class of Professor Jacques Rouvier.
Yuki attended her bachelor’s degree courses at Tokyo University of the Arts and graduated with a brilliant score.
She received special grants, including Acanthus Music Awards. She also got several fellowships and scholarships, including Munetsugu Tokuji Foundation and Hiroshima Peace Creation Fund Scholarship.
She has performed in many recitals in Europe and Japan and has also been invited to several music festivals.
She performed Rachmaninov 1st concerto with Hiroshima Symphonic Orchestra.
She is also an avid chamber musician and has performed with many great musicians.
