Bio

Kwangsik Park undertook the studies of singing at Chung-Ang University in Seoul in 2018. He graduated from the Conservatorio ‘Arrigo Boito’ in Parma under the guidance of Prof. Romano Franceschetto in 2021. He participated in Masterclasses with Maestros Raina Kabainvanska, Luca Salsi, Francesco Meli, Vincenzo Scalera, Alfonso Antoniozzi, Fiorenza Cedolins, Wolfgang Brendel, Kwangchul Youn. He performed the role ‘Kang Min-gu’ in the opera creation ‘1953’ by Jaesin Lee, the role ‘Timur’ in the opera ‘Turandot’, the role ‘Lo zio Bonzo’ in the opera ‘Madama Butterfly’, the role ‘Coline’ in the opera ‘La Boheme’ by G. Puccini, the role ‘Dottore’ in the opera ‘La Traviata’ by G. Verdi, the role ‘Hanezò’ in the opera ‘L’amico Fritz’ by P. Mascagni. He sang as the soloist the oratorio ‘Messiah’ by G.F Händel, ‘Requiem’, ‘Alma dei creatoris’ by W.A Mozart, ‘Petite messe Solennelle’ by G. Rossini. He won third prize at the 36th International Competition for Young Opera Singers ‘Ismaele Voltolini’ and 8th International Competition “Voci In-Canto”. He was a role winner in the opera ‘La Boheme’ at the 7th International Opera Singing Competition ‘Enzo Sordello’.
