SAIDA SAPARAYEVA

 

Saida Saparayeva was born in Almaty into a well-known family of artists. She graduated from the Kazakh National University of the Arts with Prof. Syrlybaev. At the age of seventeen, she was admitted to the Zurich School of Music in Switzerland. Saida is a holder of a prestigious Swiss “Lyra Stifftung” scholarship. She has performed recitals at the “Antonio Janigro” festival in Croatia, the “Menuhin Festival” in Gstaad, the “Klassik Konstanz” in Germany, the Accademia Chigiana, the Accademia Stauffer, and performed as a young violin talent at the Modelhof festival (Switzerland). She participated in the DakApp festival and gave concerts in Spain: Gijon, Madrid and Paphos (Cyprus), played solo recitals in France, Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy. She also performed as second violin in the “Oistrakh Quartet” with Andrey Baranov as first violin. Saida is a second prize winner in the “Astana Merey” International Violin Competition and was a finalist in the Luigi Zanuccoli Competition. She has participated in master classes of Viktoria Mullova, Yuri Zhislin, Anton Sorokow. Since 2015 she has been studying with Professor Boris Belkin at the Imola International Academy.
