SEBASTIAN ZAGAME
Sebastian Zagame, born in Rome on November 30, 2000, began playing the violin at the age of three. At the age of sixteen, he obtained the Diploma di Vecchio Ordinamento in Violin at the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia and at nineteen the Master’s Degree in Violin with honors and honorable mention. He studied with Maestro Pavel Berman. He has won international competitions such as First Absolute Prize at the “Young Talents” Rotary Club Cittadella Prize (2023) and the Dinu Lipatti Competition (2022), and was awarded the Gilardi Foundation Scholarship. As a soloist, he has performed with the Civita Festival Orchestra and the Roosevelt University Orchestra of Chicago, playing at venues such as the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg and Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavik. He plays a 1904 Valentino De Zorzi violin.
