SEUNGHWAN LEE
The tenor Seunghwan Lee began his lyrical singing studies in Korea, graduating in 2020 from Chungnam National University. He is currently enrolled as a student at the “G. Nicolini” Conservatory in Piacenza.

The first round unites Werther’s famous aria from Werther, a lyrical moment where the protagonist questions the awakening of nature and love, with Zamoro’s aria from Alzira, where the captured Indian rebel leader laments being far from his beloved and reflects on his imprisonment. The semi-final features two arias of great dramatic depth: Alvaro’s aria from La forza del destino, a desperate invocation to his beloved Leonora, and Pollione’s aria from Norma, an expression of love and inner torment.
