YINAN ZHAO

 

Yinan Zhao is a D.M.A. student at the Department of Orchestral Instruments of the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing and studies under Professor Ti Zhang. He began studying the violin at the age of four and was later instructed by Professor Da Su in 2008. In 2011, he was admitted to the Middle School of the Central Conservatory of Music, where he studied under Professor Wei Xue and Professor Jia Zhang. Since 2016, he has been studying under Professor Ti Zhang. In 2016, he participated in the Mozarteum Summer Academy Master Class. In 2019, he won second prize in the 4th Chamber Music Competition of the Central Conservatory of Music and the Pearl River – Caesar Scholarship Competition. During his studies, he was admitted to the Seiji Ozawa Ongaku-juku. In 2021 he was recommended to become a graduate student of the Central Conservatory of Music. In 2023 he received first prize and the Ysaÿe Prize at the Ysaÿe International Music Competition.
