Andrey Anokhin

Andrey Anokhin was born on 5th May 1994. He started to play piano at the age of 6. He studied at the Tchaikovsky Academic Music College at the Moscow State Conservatory, firstly with a special programme, then, from 2010 to 2014, in the class of Olga Mechetina. At present he is a postgraduate student in the class of Sergei Dorensky.

Andrey got many prizes from 2009 onwards:

  • April 2009: 1st prize at the I Kazenin Regional Open Junior Piano Competition, Kirov, Russia;
  • December 2009: 2nd prize at the Russian Open Piano Competition “Merzliakovka invites friends”, Moscow, Russia;
  • April 2010: 2nd prize at the X Concours International de Piano “Nikolai Rubinstein”, Paris, France;
  • March 2011: 3rd prize at  the “Musical Diamond” Moscow International Piano Competition, Moscow, Russia;
  • June 2012: 3rd prize at the “Karamanoff” Moscow International Piano Competition, Moscow, Russia;
  • December 2012: 3rd pize at the IV “Savshinsky” International Piano Competition, Saint Peterburg, Russia;
  • June 2013 – Grand Prix at the II International Competition in Cyprus;
  • June 2014: Diploma at the 5th International Piano Competition “Piano talents”, Milan, Italy;
  • July 2017: 1st prize of  the “International music Lutraki Festival”, Lutraki Greece:
  • May 2018: 2nd prize at the 6th “Citta di San Dona di Piave” International Piano Competition, Italy.
