Japanese pianist Fuyuko Nakamura started to study piano at the age of 6. She enrolled in the Showa piano art academy in Japan at the age of 12 under the guidance of Prof. Fumiko Eguchi. She has won prizes in several music competitions including 2nd Prize at The 14th Japan Mozart Music Competition,3rd Prize at The 8th Tokyo Music Competition, 2nd Prize at The 2nd International piano Competition Hanoi, and Gold Prize and Soloist Award at International Chopin Piano Competition in ASIA (Concerto C, General Category)along with many other awards and prizes. She has appeared at numerous international music festivals such as Seoul International Music Festival in Korea, FACP Conference in Philippines and the 12th International Festival “Musical Kremlin”in Moscow. She released her first CD “My Favorite” from JVC KENWOOD Victor Entertainment corp. in August 2016. Currently she is studying at Universität der Künste Berlin with Prof. Mi-joo Lee.
