Ye Chin Hwang won a special-prize at “2019 Pietro Argento International Piano Competition and got a 3rd Prize both at the “2018 International Music Festival Paris Competition” and at the “2017 International Concours de Piano Mayenne-France”. In the same year, she got a 3rd Prize in “2017 International Steinway-Förderpreis”, a Diploma of Distinction in “2017 Livorno International Competition”.

Ms. Hwang was a winner and got prizes in several competitions in Korea such as Eumac Chunchu Competition (1st prize), Germany-Korea Brahms Competition (2nd prize).

In 2019, she performed with Detmold Landestheater Orchestra.

She studied for the Bachelor’s of music degree with Aviram Reichert at Seoul National University and for the Master of music degree with Gabriele Kupfernagel at HfM in Berlin “Hanns Eisler”.

Currently she is a Konzertexamen at HfM Detmold, studying with Jacob Leuschner.
