Keiichiro Ikebe

Keiichiro Ikebe is a Japanese pianist, born 1993 in Fukuoka, Japan. He has won the numerous competitions including the 4th prize at The 3rd Shigeru Kawai International Piano Competition in 2019, the Steinway Klassik-Förderpreis 2017 in Munich. He is actively performing in solo and chamber concerts in Germany and Japan, including a concerto appearance with Kyushu Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Ikebe received Bachelor’s Degree in Piano performance from Tokyo University of the Arts, Master’s Degree from the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich. He has studied under Akira Eguchi, Michiko Ohno, Yukio Yokoyama, Maki Yasumura, Kaoru Takahashi for Piano, and under Silke Avenhaus, Yuya Tsuda, Shohei Uwamori for chamber music. Currently he is a Meisterklasse student studying with Prof. Michael Schäfer at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich.
