Miyu Kido was born in Aomori, Japan in 1995. He began to study piano at the age of eleven. When he was a student at Tokyo University of the Arts, he won the 1st prize of the 23rd Hfuper Tosu piano Competition in Tosu, Japan 2017; previously and he had won the 2nd Prize of the 58rd All Tohoku piano Competition in Sendai, Japan 2014.
He performed Beethoven Piano Concert No.3, Katsuya Matsubara conducting, with Nagasaki Omura Chamber Ensemble.
He studied under the direction of Kstsumi Ueda, Yuya Tsuda, Yasuko Tomoda. He graduated at Tokyo University of the Arts in 2019. Currently he is attending his master’s course at Tokyo University of the Arts graduate school.
