Danylo Sayenko was born  in Lviv (Ukraine) in 1991. He began to play the piano at the age of 6. He graduated at Salome Krushelnytska Music School for Gifted Children in Lviv in the piano class of Yuri Moysyak. In 2009 he was accepted at the State Mykola Lysenko National Music Academy in Lviv in the piano class of Prof. Yozif Ermine. Since 2014 he has been studying at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg with Prof. Anna Vinnizka and since 2017 at the Hochschule für Musik ynd Theater in Rostock with Prof. Mattias Kirschnereit.

He got awards in the following competitions:

  • Maria Canals Piano Competition (Barcelona), 2015 – 1st prize
  • International Piano Competition “GIORGOS Thymis”(Thessaloniki), 2015 – 1st prize
  • Massarosa International Piano Competition, 2018 – 1st prize
  • “Pietro Ideluca” International Piano Competition (Carsoli), 2018 – 3rd prize
  • “Fausto Zadra” International Piano Competition (Abano Terme), 2018 – 3rd prize
  • Brescia Classica International Piano Competition, 2017 – 3rd prize
  • Malta International Music Fest 2017 – 4th prize
  • International Vladimir Horowitz Piano Competition in Kiev, 2012 – 6th prize
  • Emil Gilels International Piano Competition, Odessa, 2012 – 3rd prize,
  • International Mykola Lysenko Competition, Kiev, 2012 – 4th prize
  • Piano Forum Festival (Sianok, Poland), 2011 – “Zlotyj Parnas” Award
  • “Valsesa Musica” Piano Competition (Varallo), 2013 – Finalist
  • S. Stancic Piano Competition (Zagreb), 2014 – Finalist

He actively gives  solo concerts  and with symphony orchestras in Ukraine, Germany, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, France, Italy, Slovakia, Greece and Norway.
