SUAH YE

Suah Ye was born in Seoul in 2000. Selected as one of Korea’s most influential young classical musicians by Forbes Korea, she has won prestigious international competitions, including fourth prize at the 17th Tchaikovsky International Competition, second prize and a special prize at the Seoul International Competition, first prize at the Arthur Rubinstein Young Artist Competition, and first prize at the Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians. She was invited by Maestro Valery Gergiev to perform with the Mariinsky Symphony Orchestra at the Mariinsky Theatre and has performed multiple concerts with the Tchaikovsky Grand Symphony Orchestra. As a soloist, she has appeared with leading orchestras such as the Israel Symphony Orchestra, Korean National Symphony Orchestra, State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia, Hanoi Philharmonic Orchestra, and Moscow State Symphony Orchestra. Her performances have taken her to prestigious venues including the Great Hall of the Moscow State Conservatory, the Great Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, Tel Aviv Performing Arts Center, Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, Salle Cortot in Paris, Beijing Forbidden City Concert Hall, Carnegie Weill Recital Hall, as well as major Korean venues like the Seoul Arts Center, Lotte Concert Hall, and Busan Concert Hall. Suah received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees and continues her Soloklasse degree at the University of Music, Drama and Media Hannover under Professor Arie Vardi, while currently studying at the Accademia Internazionale di Imola “Incontri col Maestro” with Maestro Boris Petrushansky.
