GEONWOO YI

Geonwoo Yi recently completed his Master of Music degree at the New England Conservatory, where he was co-tutored by Prof. Alexander Korsantia and Prof. Alessio Bax, performing frequently in various institutional concerts. He is currently continuing his advanced studies in the Advanced Artist Diploma course at the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid under the guidance of Prof. Milana Chernyavska. On the international stage, Geonwoo demonstrated his exceptional artistic presence by winning Second Prize at the 2025 CIPCE International Piano Competition of Spain. Grounded in a clear structural framework and deep respect for the score, his music ultimately seeks a vivid emotional connection. By bridging this strong foundation with poetic intuition, he strives to create a shared space of deep empathy through every phrase.
