REI HARADA

Rei Harada was born in Japan in 2005. He studies at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris with Frank Braley and Haruko Ueda, and in the Soloist Diploma Course at Toho Gakuen School of Music with Hiroe Arai and Shohei Sekimoto. His achievements include First Prize at the Ettlingen International Competition, First Prize at the Anton Rubinstein International Piano Competition in Düsseldorf, and Second Prize at the Robert Schumann International Competition in Zwickau. He also won Third Prize at both the Brahms International Piano Competition Detmold and the Città di Cantù International Piano Competition. He has performed with the Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie, Clara Schumann Philharmonie, and Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa, and appeared in recitals in Japan, Germany, and Italy. He is supported by the Yasuko Fukuda Scholarship, the Ezaki Scholarship, and the Rohm Music Foundation.
