CURTIS PHILL HSU

 

Curtis Phill Hsu began piano studies at age four. In 2016 he entered the Hochbegabungsförderung at the Leopold Mozart Institute, Mozarteum University Salzburg, studying with Prof. Andreas Weber. After completing his Bachelor’s degree at the Mozarteum, he continued with Prof. Arie Vardi at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover, where he is currently enrolled in the Soloklasse. Prizewinner of international competitions, he won 1st Prize at the 2024 Hastings International Piano Competition and 1st Prize at the 2025 Maria Canals International Piano Competition. He made his London debut with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Cadogan Hall in 2024 and will undertake a tour in Spain this season with the symphony orchestras of Madrid, Granada, Bilbao and Tenerife.
