GYUTAE HA
Born in 1996, Korean pianist GyuTae Ha began his piano studies at the age of six. Over the years, he has developed a vibrant international career, performing both as a soloist and with orchestras across Australia, China, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Korea, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Singapore, and the USA. His recent artistic achievements include winning the 5th prize at the 2026 Takamatsu International Piano Competition, the 5th prize at the 2025 Les Étoiles du Piano in Roubaix, and a special prize at the 2025 Telekom Beethoven Competition Bonn. Additionally, he was honored with the Steinway Advancement Award in November 2023. His earlier career highlights feature significant awards from the ISANG YUN Competition, where he earned the 2nd prize and a special prize, as well as distinctions at the Sydney International Piano Competition, the Cooper International Competition, and the International Chopin Competition for Young Pianists in Moscow. GyuTae Ha completed his undergraduate degree at Yonsei University in Seoul and went on to earn his Master’s degree at the Folkwang University of the Arts under the tutelage of Prof. Hisako Kawamura. He is currently continuing his artistic development at the same institution, pursuing the Konzertexamen under the guidance of the same professor.
