SHENGEN JIN

 

Jin Shengen Born in 2002 into an ethnic Korean family in China, Jin Shengen began professional musical training only at age 15. In 2018, he entered the Gulangyu Piano School of CCOM under Xue Yingjia, later graduating top of his class. Currently a Master’s candidate at the Central Conservatory of Music, he studies with Wu Ying, Ju Jin, and Stefano Fiuzzi. Jin has garnered numerous awards across China, Italy, and Russia (Yamal, Xiamen, Imola……), and was shortlisted for prestigious international events such as the ARD Munich and Clara Haskil competitions. As a soloist, he has performed with the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Russian Federation and the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra. His versatile artistry also includes serving as a vocal repetiteur for the China Chamber Opera Creation Promotion Program, reflecting a musical maturity that defies his late start in the profession.
