ROBERT CASSELS
Robby Cassels is a British pianist born on 15 May 2009. He is currently studying at the Yehudi Menuhin School with Professor Anahit Tschausian. He began playing the piano at the age of eight and has established himself as an accomplished soloist and collaborative musician. His recent performances include Beethoven’s Fourth Piano Concerto with the Chorleywood Orchestra, Schumann’s Dichterliebe with Mark Padmore, and Fauré’s Dolly Suite with Kathryn Stott in The Menuhin Hall. He has participated in masterclasses with leading international pianists and pedagogues, including Kathryn Stott, Robert Levin, Peter Nagy, and Denis Kozhukin, and attended the Budapest Festival Academy in July 2026. His awards include First Prize at the Rickmansworth Young Musician of the Year and First Prize at the Two Moors Young Musician of the Year.
