YUTA KAKEYA

 

Yuta Kakeya, born in Okayama in 1998, began playing the piano at the age of nine. He completed his master’s degree at the Tokyo University of the Arts, where he performed at the Tokyo University of the Arts Concert Hall in collaboration with the Geidai Philharmonia Orchestra on Chopin’s Piano Concerto. He has studied piano with Kaori Ishii, Yumi Torigoe, and Hiroshi Arimori, and attended a masterclass with Enrico Pace in Italy. In recent years, he has successfully given many recitals in various locations, featuring programs of works by diverse composers. Currently, he is studying at the Imola International Piano Academy in Italy under Igor Roma.
