YICAI LIU

 

Liu Yicai, born in Jingzhou, Hubei, China, in 2010, is a piano student at the Middle School Affiliated to the Central Conservatory of Music, where she studies with Professor Yunqing Zhou. She was admitted to the Conservatory’s Primary School in 2019 with the highest entrance examination score nationwide. In 2019, she won the Grand Prize at the Huanglong Music Season Piano Week Grand Finale and was invited to perform at the 60th Anniversary Concert of the Central Conservatory of Music Youth Symphony Orchestra. In 2021, she received the Grand Gold Prize in Group A of the Haydn International Piano Competition. In 2024, she won Third Prize in Group A of the 19th Academy Cup Piano Concerto Competition at the Central Conservatory of Music.
