YUNDI XU

 

Yundi Xu, a Chinese pianist, entered the CNSMDP at the age of 14, subsequently studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London, and completed the Konzertexamen at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin. She has performed as a soloist and chamber musician at prestigious venues including the Berlin Konzerthaus, Salle Gaveau, Bolshoi Theatre, and the National Concert Hall in Taipei, collaborating with orchestras such as the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra, and Orchestra Filarmonica Pugliese. A prizewinner of several international competitions, she received the Vladimir Spivakov Foundation Prize at the Olga Kern International Piano Competition, First Prize at the Festival Internacional de Piano de Málaga, and was a quarter-finalist at the Clara Haskil Competition. She is a Young Steinway Artist.
