SEOJUN YUN

The tenor Seojun Yun obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from Kyung Hee University in South Korea and is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Opera at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Italy. This season, he has performed in various settings, singing under the baton of Gianna Fratta at the G7 Ministers’ Meeting on Science and Technology in Forlì and participating in the “Tutto Puccini” concert for Rai Radio 3, commemorating the centenary of the composer. He also collaborated with the Orchestra of the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma. He has performed the roles of Rodolfo in La Bohème, Han Mir in Andromeda, and Alfredo in La traviata. He won 1st Prize at the Mattia Battistini International Competition and 2nd Prize at the inaugural Premio Giacomo Puccini International Competition, where he was also awarded the Best Male Puccini Voice prize.
