PIANO 2023: Competitor
Linda Lee began studying piano at the age of five in her hometown of Seoul, Republic of Korea. She attended Yewon Arts school and Seoul Arts high school, graduating with honors. He studied piano with Professor Aviram Reichert at Seoul National University, receiving a scholarship for his outstanding academic performance, and is currently pursuing a Master of Musical Arts degree with Professor Boris Berman and Professor Wei-yi Yang at the Yale School of Music, where he received a full scholarship. In addition to her outstanding academic excellence, she has had the honor of receiving both the Seoul National University Alumni Association Award and Yale’s Elizabeth Parisot Award, which is given to an outstanding pianist of the year. She has established herself as an international artist by winning prizes in numerous competitions including 1st prize at the 28th Leoš Janácek International Competition,2nd prize at Giorgos Thymis International Competition, Samick-Seiler Piano Competition. She performed in various venues in South Korea, USA, Israel, China, Belgium, Italy, Netherlands, Greece, and Czech Republic for solo recitals and concerto performances with Thessaloniki State Symphony orchestra, Czech Virtuosi Orchestra, Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra and Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion. Today she continues in her career as a solo pianist and as part of the Amnis Piano Quartet with remarkable achievements, including winning the Yale Chamber Music Competition and third prize in the Fischoff 2023 Chamber Music Competition.
