DANIELE MARTINELLI

Daniele Martinelli is among the most brilliant Italian talents of his generation. Born into a family of musicians in 2004, he began studying the piano at the age of 8. Winner of First Prize at the XXXXI Premio Venezia at Teatro La Fenice in Venice, First Prize at the XVI Premio Nazionale delle Arti of the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research at the “C. Monteverdi” Conservatory of Bolzano as best student among Italian Conservatories, and Third Prize at the Verona International Piano Competition, he has performed in prominent venues such as Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Teatro La Fenice, Sala Verdi, Fazioli Concert Hall, and the Musikverein in Vienna. He is regularly invited by prestigious festivals and institutions and has collaborated as a soloist with orchestras including the Fondazione Arena di Verona, the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano, and the Kyiv Virtuosi Philharmonic Orchestra. Supported by the Lieven Piano Foundation in Vienna, he combines standard repertoire with a strong interest in contemporary music and less frequently performed pieces. He studies at the Milan Conservatory with Maria Grazia Bellocchio, with whom he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree with honours and special mention at the Bergamo Conservatory.
