PIANO 2023: Competitor
Defined as an exceptional pianist with a sincere and engaging personality, Davide Ranaldi began studying the piano at the age of 4. In 2021 he won the First Prize in the renowned Premio Venezia XXXVII competition after graduating from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan with full marks, honors and a special mention for “technical musical quality of the highest level”. At the end of 2021 he was invited to play Concerto n. 2 by L. van Beethoven conducted by Maestro Donato Renzetti, inaugurating with three concerts the cultural project “In Beethoven’s Olympus” which will lead Cortina D’Ampezzo to the Olympics in 2026. He performed for the Società del Quartetto di Milano, the Bologna Festival, the Friends of Music of Florence, the Friends of Music of Padua (sala dei Giganti), the Friends of Music of Mestre (with the Boccherini trio), for the Chamber Music Association of Trieste, the Teatro La Fenice in Venice ( Sala Grande), at the Fazioli Concert Hall and for the Musical Weeks at the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza. The highlights of the current season include, in February 2023, the debut at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa and a return to the Teatro La Fenice in Venice. Davide now lives in Milan and is perfecting his skills under the guidance of Maestro Alexander Romanovsky and Maestro Leonid Margarius.
