JACKY XIAOYU ZHANG

 

Jacky is an 18-year-old pianist and composer who graduated from the Royal College of Music majoring in Piano and Composition. He is now continuing his postgraduate studies with Professor Dmitri Alexeev. He has won 1st prize at the UK Piano Open International Competition, 1st prize at the Premio Alkan International Piano Competition, 1st prize in both sections of the Cantù International Piano and Orchestra Competition, 2nd prize at the Santa Cecília Competition, and 3rd prize as well as the best Scriabin prize at the Scriabin Competition. Jacky has given performances at many festivals and venues around the world, and has worked with well-known conductors and musicians. His other interests also include songwriting and production.
