PIANO 2023: Competitor

 

Born in Seoul, South Korea in 1995, Jeong-Hyun Yoon started his piano studies at age of eight, and at twelve he performed his first recital in Seoul Arts Center, South Korea. He graduated from Yewon arts middle school, Seoul arts high school as student of Prof. Soo-Jung Shin and Soo-Hyun Jung, and Seoul National University as student of Prof. Aviram Reichert. He has performed recitals at Kumho Art Hall in 2009, and Samick Art hall in 2015. Among his recent award, the 2nd prize at Ewha & Kyunghyang Competition in 2012, 1st prize at Samick Piano Competition in 2014, 1st prize at The Concerto Competition in Tel-Hai International Piano Master Classes in 2015, 1st prize of Young Chang Music Competition and 2nd prize of Hong Kong International Piano Competition in 2016. He currently studies at Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln at the studio of Prof. Fabio Bidini, and takes private lessons with prof. Arnulf von Arnim.
