JIAPENG WANG

 

Jiapeng Wang is a Chinese pianist based in Germany. He completed the prestigious Konzertexamen at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt, following previous studies at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold and the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts, and currently studies with Ms. Xin Wang. He is the first Chinese pianist to win First Prize at the 11th Osimo International Piano Competition, alongside top prizes at the Delia Steinberg International Piano Competition and other contests in Italy, Spain, and Greece. He has been selected for the Leeds, Busoni, Hamamatsu, and Dublin international piano competitions. He performs extensively across Europe and Asia, appears as a soloist with orchestras in Germany and Italy, and has been invited to numerous international music festivals. In 2024, he released his debut album, Colored Darkness, and became a KNS Classical Artist.
