KANGTAE KIM

 

Kangtae Kim won 3rd Prize at the Liszt Utrecht International Piano Competition in Utrecht, Netherlands, 2nd Prize at the Takamatsu International Piano Competition in Takamatsu, Japan, and 3rd Prize at the Isang Yun International Competition in Tongyeong, South Korea. His 2026 performances and recordings include the release of his live recording from the Liszt Utrecht International Piano Competition in Utrecht, Netherlands; a concerto performance with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht, Netherlands; a concerto performance with the Münster Symphony Orchestra at Theater Münster in Münster, Germany; a concerto performance with the KT Orchestra at the Seoul Arts Center Concert Hall in Seoul, South Korea; and a solo recital at the IBK Chamber Hall of the Seoul Arts Center in Seoul, South Korea. He completed his Konzertexamen at the Musikhochschule Münster studying with Prof. Arnulf von Arnim, his Master’s Degree at the Universität der Künste Berlin studying with Prof. Markus Groh, and his Bachelor’s Degree at the Seoul National University College of Music studying with Prof. Joo-Hee Sung.
