KENNOSUKE IIZUKA

 

Kennosuke Iizuka was born in Japan in 1998. In 2020, he graduated top of his class in piano from the Tokyo University of the Arts, receiving five prizes: the Ataka Prize, Mitsubishi Shisho Prize, Toride Mayor’s Prize, Acanthus Prize, and Geidai Clavier Prize. That same year, he was admitted by a unanimous jury vote to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where he studied with Michel Dalberto for two years before joining Franck Braley’s class, eventually obtaining his Licence and Master’s degrees. He is currently enrolled in the Le Parcours d’Excellence en Interprétation Musicale at the CRR de Paris under the guidance of Romain Descharmes. In 2023, he reached the quarterfinals of the Clara Haskil International Piano Competition.
