MITSUKI FUKUHARA

 

Mitsuki Fukuhara, born in Nara, Japan, in 1997, is a Japanese pianist based in Essen, Germany. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Piano at Osaka Kyoiku University in 2020, graduating as the top student, and earned his Master’s degree at the Folkwang University of the Arts in 2024. Since October 2024, he has studied in the Konzertexamen programme under Henri Sigfridsson. His achievements include first prizes at the Köhler-Osbahr-Stiftung Competition and the Folkwang Preis, third prize at the Premio Mater Competition, fourth prize at the Livorno Piano Competition, and finalist positions at the Bartók and Premio Alkan competitions. He was selected for the 2026 New Orleans Piano Competition.
