MONICA ZHANG

 

Monica Zhang was born in Milan in 2007 and studies at the conservatory of her city. She won the Livorno Piano Competition 2023, second prize at the Olga Kern International Piano Competition 2025, the Mompou Prize at the Maria Canals Competition in Barcelona 2026, and the Concerto Competition in Fort Worth. She has performed as a soloist and in chamber music formations for important festivals in Italy, Europe, the United States, and Russia. She has performed with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Bodensee Philharmonie, New Mexico Philharmonic, Orchestra Antonio Vivaldi, Dalì Quartet, and Quartetto Goldberg. She has attended the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, the Eppan Piano Academy, Brescia Master Courses, Accademia Stauffer, PianoTexas Festival, and the Lieven Piano Foundation, receiving guidance from Masters Kissin, Vardi, Paik, Staier, Martinez Mehner, Levin, and Lucchesini, among others.
