Nohyoung Kim

PIANO 2023: Competitor

 

Nohyoung Kim, born in Incheon, South Korea, in 1997, has been awarded prizes in numerous piano competitions, including second prize in the International Giorgos Thymis Competition, second prize in the International Mozarte Competition, and first prize in the Young Chang National Music Competition. She has given several recitals and concerts in South Korea, Germany, Italy and Austria and has performed with the Yonsei University Philharmonic Orchestra and the Haneum Philharmonic Orchestra. Nohyoung received her bachelor’s degree from Yonsei University with Professor Peter Ovtcharov and her master’s degree from the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien in Hanover with Professor Ewa Kupiec as a fellow of the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation (LMN). He is currently studying Konzertexamen at Musikhochschule Münster with Professor Arnulf von Arnim and Master of Chamber Music at Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover with Professors Markus Becker and Oliver Wille.
