PIETRO FRESA

 

Born in Bologna in 2000, Pietro Fresa made his debut in Liverpool in 2017 performing Beethoven’s Third Concerto for the UNESCO event “Bologna-Liverpool City of Music,” receiving the Medal of the Chamber of Deputies in the same year. He graduated with honors and honorable mention from the Bologna Conservatory under Carlo Mazzoli and trained at the Imola Academy with Jin Ju and Boris Petrushansky. After graduating with top marks from the Royal College of Music in London under Dmitri Alexeev and Sofya Gulyak thanks to a scholarship, he furthered his studies with renowned masters. He has given concerts in prestigious international venues such as the Steinway Hall in London, the Musikverein in Vienna, and the Teatro Alighieri in Ravenna, collaborating with artists such as Mario Brunello and Giuseppe Gibboni. He has distinguished himself in competitions such as the Dublin International Piano Competition, the Telekom Beethoven Piano Competition, and the SKIPC 2025, performing regularly as a soloist and with orchestras including the ESO and the Young Musicians European Orchestra.
