Salome Modebadze was born in Zestaphoni, Georgia. She graduated from the Tbilisi Z. Paliashvili Central Music School in 2016 in the class of Prof. Nino Katamadze. She graduated from the Tbilisi State Conservatory in 2020 and is currently studying at the State Conservatory V. Sarajishvili in the second year of master’s degree. In 2017, Salome Modebadze was invited to Moscow to the Tchaikovsky State Conservatory International Festival “We invite friends.” She often participates in master classes with famous musicians: Eliso Virsaladze, Elizabeta Leonskaya, Alexander Toradze, Natalia Trull, Grigory Gruzman, Edisher Savitsky, Fulvio Turisin, and is a winner of several competitions: 1st Prize winner at Tbilisi International Competition for Young Pianists 2014 (Georgia) – Grand Prize winner at Marmaris International Competition 2014 (Turkey) – 3rd Prize and Lisa Leonskaya Special Prize winner at Musicians Performers National Competition of Georgia 2015 – Grand Prize winner at Baku International Competition 2015 (Azerbaijan) – Grand Prize winner at Riga International Competition 2017 (Latvia) – Finalist and Audience Prize winner at Canada International Piano Competition 2021. On November 19, 2022, she performed Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 26 with the Tbilisi Symphony Orchestra at the Djansug Kakhidze Tbilisi Music and Culture Center. Salome Modebadze made her debut in Istanbul, at the Cemal Reshit Rey (CRR) concert hall, where she performed Bach double piano concertos with Istanbul Barok Camerata.
