TAEEUN KIM

 

Taeeun Kim was born in the Republic of Korea in 1995. He received his Bachelor’s degree in piano from Yonsei University and completed his Master’s degree at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden under Professor Hinrich Alpers, before pursuing the Meisterklasse at the Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg under Professor Wolfgang Manz. His awards include prizes at the Lyon International Piano Competition and the Busan MBC Music Competition, alongside first prizes at both the Dresden Chamber Music Competition and the Nuremberg Chamber Music Competition as a member of the Pelagic Trio. He has performed widely in solo and chamber music concerts across Germany and internationally.
