YUKI AMAKO

 

Yuki Amako, born in Japan on June 15, 1999, is currently studying under Professor Pavel Gililov at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, after previously attending the Toho Gakuen School of Music with Professor Nobuhito Nakai. He has won numerous international piano competitions, including second prizes at the Tbilisi International Piano Competition (2022) and the J.N. Hummel International Piano Competition (2024), first prize at the Student Music Concours of Japan (2015), and both third and audience prizes at the Music Competition of Japan (2018). As a soloist, he has performed with orchestras including the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, the Georgian Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra.
