YUNA NAKAGAWA

 

Yuna Nakagawa is currently pursuing the Konzertexamen at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen with Professor Hisako Kawamura, having previously completed her Junior Studie and Bachelor’s degree with Professor Barbara Szczepanska and Professor Karl-Heinz Kämmerling. She has won first prize at the International Piano Competition of the Chopin Society Hannover and the Steinway Piano Competition, second prize at the International Mayenne Piano Competition, and third prize at the International Valsesia Music Competition and the International Hans von Bülow Piano Competition. As a soloist, she has performed at various festivals, including the Gradus International Piano Festival in Denmark, the International Music Festival from Chopin to Gorecki, and the Saturday Chopin Recitals in Żelazowa Wola, Poland.
