ZHEXIANG LI

Zhexiang Li has studied under Professor Zhang Xinning and currently studies with Professor Wei Danwen. In 2019, he was admitted to the Central Conservatory of Music Middle School in first place. In 2025, he was admitted to the first year of the undergraduate piano program at the same conservatory in first place, showing his extraordinary musical potential. His artistic footprint has spread worldwide; at the age of 11, he entered the international stage, giving solo concerts in major venues in Beijing, Los Angeles, London, Nagoya, and Hong Kong, and appearing on CCTV. He has performed with numerous orchestras in China and abroad, such as the China Philharmonic Orchestra, Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, Pacific Symphony Orchestra, Orquestra Sinfónica do Porto Casa da Música, Camerata Orchestra, and Salzburg Soloists Chamber Orchestra. In competitions, in 2019 he won first prize and the Best Performance of Polonaise Award at the 2nd Beijing International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition for Young Pianists. In 2023, he won first prize and special awards at the 5th China Shenzhen International Piano Concerto Competition. In June 2024, he achieved first prize, tour awards, the KNS International Agency Prize including a solo CD recording contract, the Victor Macedo Pinto Prize, and the Cãmara Municipal do Porto Prize at the 26th Santa Cecilia International Piano Competition. In November 2024, he won second prize and the audience prize at the Xiamen International Piano Competition. His solo album “Time & Space”, published by KNS Records in June 2025, was released globally on major music platforms. In July 2026, he was selected for the Verbier Festival Academy (Piano).
